better would not be the right world. It has a good demand as company support is available with it where as R is open source and one has to rely on the suppor of the R community. R is certainly on the rise though and its demand is rapidly increasing too.

R or rather the R Statistical package very simply put is the open source equivalent of SAS, for what it’s worth R can pretty much do everything SAS can do in terms of Statistical analysis and there are some pretty cool things R can do which SAS can’t. Say you want to build a predictive model using Logistic regression, well R can do it; ARIMA model, yes; Decision Trees, yes; Association rule mining,yes;etc etc…. read less

Hi, in my opinion, you should go for SAP PS. It is growing these days. Much coding is not required. You can easily do certification in SAP and join top 10 companies with an average package of 8 lakhs.
