That way you will have a satisfying career and not something that you bite into for the sake of job security. So, are you good at talking to people and negotiating deals? Are you good at research and analysis? Do you have a flair for writing? Are you good at using tools to achieve objectives? Identify you inherent skill. Then decide whether you seek adventure and challenges in marketing or want a peaceful desk job/operations job? This I believe will help you clear your confusion.When I completed my Engineering Degree, I had a similar dilemma. I was split between VLSI job and Web Technologies Start-up. I made my decision. I also hope you make your decision. No decision is right at thebeginning, you can always make it right. read less

You know IT is everywhere. If you have interest in software implementation you can go for Business Analysis training in the same field or in SAP using your exisitng experience.

In a country like India where little accountability and legal recourse exist for those who work on poor Business Intelligence, how would you ensure your Marketing decisions and Operations decisions yield the desired results? Make your education and experience gain merit by doing the fundamental thing right... data collection, assimilation and communication as a Marketing or an Operations Manager. Your Research and Analysis has to be thorough. Else,,, learn 2 foreign languages and try for abroad... it is no rocket science. call me and i can give perspective to this response if you find it confusing. read less

Hi Krishna,If you have interest in Marketing then you can do any Digital Marketing course and upgrade yourself for digital marketing opprtunities. I think MBA in marketing & knowledge of DM will be really good asset for any company.
