• S Phase: DNA is replicated
• G₂ Phase: Final preparations before cell div
2. M Phase (Mitosis):

• Prophase: Chromosomes condense, spindle fibers form
• Metaphase: Chromosomes line up in the center
• Anaphase: Sister chromatids separate to opposite sides
• Telophase: New nuclear membranes form around each set
• Cytokinesis: Cytoplasm divides, forming two daughter cellsision
Interphase = G₁ → S → G₂
