I taught Science to middle school students, focusing on building a strong foundation in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology through interactive and engaging lessons. I used real-life examples, experiments, and visual aids to make concepts easier to understand and spark curiosity. I designed age-appropriate activities to encourage critical thinking and teamwork. I also regularly communicated with parents and collaborated with colleagues to support students’ academic and personal development. This role strengthened my skills in classroom management, creative lesson planning, and student engagement.

I have 2+ years of tutoring experience and 1+ year at the school level, where I taught Science and Mathematics to middle-grade students. During this time, I developed and delivered lesson plans aligned with the curriculum while incorporating interactive activities to maintain student engagement and interest. My approach focused on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where each student felt supported and motivated. I paid special attention to concept clarity in Science. I also regularly assessed student progress through class tests, assignments, and verbal discussions.

I worked as a science teacher in a school for about a year. It was my first proper teaching experience, and honestly, I learned a lot — not just about handling a classroom, but also about myself. In the beginning, I was a bit nervous — mostly about how students would respond. But slowly, I got comfortable, and so did they. I tried to keep my classes simple and interactive, because I knew science can feel dry if it’s taught in a very textbook way. Sometimes I’d use small activities or real-life examples just to make the topic easier to relate to. The part I enjoyed most was explaining difficult topics in a way that actually made sense to them. That little “ohh” reaction when they finally understood something — it was genuinely rewarding. Of course, it wasn’t always easy. Managing different types of students, dealing with discipline, completing the syllabus on time — it all had its challenges. But overall, it gave me confidence, improved my communication skills, and made me more patient.

I worked as a Science teacher for classes 6 to 10, where I not only taught concepts but tried to make them come alive with real-life examples and curiosity-driven discussions. It wasn’t just about the syllabus, it was about helping students see the wonder in how the world works. From simplifying complex topics to being that calm voice before an exam, I focused on creating a classroom where learning felt safe, exciting, and personal.

"We’re very happy with Shifa’s science tuition for our child. Concepts are explained clearly using simple language and real-life examples, which makes learning fun and easy. The teacher is knowledgeable, patient, and encourages questions, helping build confidence and interest in the subject. There’s a noticeable improvement in our child’s understanding and school performance. Classes are well-organized, always on time, and include regular homework and progress updates. Highly recommended for strong science foundation and engaging teaching style. "
