I worked as a science teacher in a school for about a year. It was my first proper teaching experience, and honestly, I learned a lot — not just about handling a classroom, but also about myself. In the beginning, I was a bit nervous — mostly about how students would respond. But slowly, I got comfortable, and so did they. I tried to keep my classes simple and interactive, because I knew science can feel dry if it’s taught in a very textbook way. Sometimes I’d use small activities or real-life examples just to make the topic easier to relate to. The part I enjoyed most was explaining difficult topics in a way that actually made sense to them. That little “ohh” reaction when they finally understood something — it was genuinely rewarding. Of course, it wasn’t always easy. Managing different types of students, dealing with discipline, completing the syllabus on time — it all had its challenges. But overall, it gave me confidence, improved my communication skills, and made me more patient.
