Quality Control (QC): QC is a reactive process that focuses on identifying and fixing defects in the product after it has been developed. It involves the actual testing of the software product to ensure that it meets the specified requirements and quality standards. QC activities include testing, inspection, and validation. The goal is to find and fix defects in the product before it is released to the customer. In summary, QA comes before QC in the chronological order of the software development life cycle. QA sets the groundwork by establishing processes and standards to prevent defects, and QC follows by executing tests and inspections to identify and correct defects that may have occurred during development.
