I would recommend Python. Because Python is useful for Data Science, Statistics and Web development too. Platforms like Django or Flask along with MongoDB or MySQL and little bit of Frontend knowledge is what you need in for Web Development. And the demand for Python in Fullstack and Data Science & AI is at its peak in the market. People get lot of option in career after learning it. On the other hand, I would not demean Ruby as it is also a very beautiful and useful technology on its own, but in current market trend it has become requirement specific. read less
