I have started teaching Spanish when I came to India. I realized how important it is and how good I am at teaching it. As I live quite far from home (Spain), when I teach the language I feel somehow connected with myself. I love to speak with my students in Spanish and get their replies in Spanish. Teaching a language give you the opportunity to meet people and get to know them well, This is another point which I enjoy a lot, the link between the teacher and the student is very strong and then becomes easy to learn and teach. As I have written somewhere else in this profile, I try to see the strengths and weak points of my students and I make material according to their needs. I get real Spanish material, like newspapers, radio channels, etc. and I use them in the class. I do games and funny exercises along with all the other materials to make the class more exiting and motivating. I have teach to individuals, small groups and big groups as well. In all the cases, I am pretty much comfortable and we had happy learning. I also teach to kids. For them I adapt the class. We learn singing more songs, drawings, and visual material. I have to say that in my classes the students are not the only ones who learn. I learn lots of things in the class and about myself as an individual and teacher. While teaching normally I use books or papers with songs, some videos and audio. I am a very flexible and adaptable teacher who gets along well with different ages of students and tries to maximize the learning while having fun in the class.
