I am a first class Mechanical Engineering graduate with 24 years of production engineering experience and 14 years of operational management experience in the field of engineering products manufacturing. My career started as an executive in-charge of a group of machine tools assembly in a public sector undertaking. In 24 years of working I positioned myself as an independent unit manager. The next 14 years have been spent in the operational management of manufacturing set up in various capacities from works manager to plant head, taking the total responsibilities of operational management. The last one year of my career as Vice-President (Marketing) which has given an insight to the customer’s relationship, the market needs and how to present a product to the market. In addition I am a technical writer who can create and manage operational manual for products produced, which is one of the important factors in determining the brand name. I am not directly involved with Foundry operations, but my position in various capacities as operational chief gave enough chances to educate myself with the Foundry operational management because of my procurement capabilities of various castings with various foundries. I am certified internal Auditor of UL for ISO 9000/9001 & 9002 in my capacity as AGM/DGM manufacturing. As for computer literacy is concerned, I am familiar with office 2007, software like Robo Help 7, frame Maker 8, SnagIt 9& Front Page. Also I have written tutorials for “How to teach yourself these software” and have been teaching to students as well. In addition I have implemented ERP package in manufacturing using BAAN system in my capacity as Assistant Vice-President in an equipment manufacturing company. During the 14 years in operation management I had the opportunity to train technicians and engineers which encouraged me to bring out my teaching ability. So for the past eight years I am running my own tuition classes for 10,11 and 12 grade level in academic streams of CBSE, ISC, IGCSE and IB teaching successfully Mathematics ,Physics and chemistry With God’s grace and self disciplined life style so for, I am hale and healthy and capable of active working for another 10 more years .
