Both school and college have been a balancing act between studies and sports. I learned time management and smart studying very quickly and I began to develop a love for and natural proclivity towards the engineering subjects around 8th standard. Since then, I have been a teacher to other tennis players on the Indian tennis circuit while I was playing and I've been a student of my classmates when I had to cover up for classes I missed at school. I've always managed to stay at the top of my class both in school as well as engineering college. During my B.Tech I taught local children English on weekends and during my first masters degree in the United States, I started a company as well as served as an entrepreneurship mentor to my peers at Cornell University. At Northeastern University, during my second engineering masters, I taught undergraduates and graduates in the chemical engineering program and later taught biology to pre-medical and biology majors. My school and college life has been a continuous cycle of learning, teaching, and growing.
