IdentityI am a Biochemistry PhD student at IRB, Bellinzona, Switzerland, with a strong academic background, including a BS-MS from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Pune, India.
My passion for teaching began during my undergraduate years, and I have been teaching part-time since 2018, starting in the second year of my studies. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience working with high school students, helping them navigate challenging topics in Biology and Chemistry.
My teaching expertise includes AP Biology, AP Chemistry, and IB Biology and Chemistry. I focus on building a solid conceptual understanding of the subject, as I believe it is the foundation of effective learning.
Biology is my primary area of interest, and I find immense joy in sharing its fascinating concepts with my students. I also have a strong interest in Chemistry and enjoy teaching it just as much. My teaching style emphasizes clarity and engagement, ensuring that students not only understand the material but also develop an appreciation for the subject.
One of the most rewarding aspects of teaching for me is witnessing students' "aha" moments—when they can apply or explain a concept that once seemed difficult. These moments inspire me to continue improving as an educator and to make learning a positive and fulfilling experience for every student I work with.
