Mathematics has always been not only my favourite subject but also my passion. I've seen people who are quite proficient in other subjects struggling with Maths and wanted to help them. For last one & a half years I'm teaching Mathematics to students of grade 7 to 10 of CBSE curriculum at my home and now I'm ready to teach other boards also. The students under my guidance are performing really well which is encouraging me to pursue my passion to further level. I emphasise not only scoring but developing a strong base in the subject as well so that when the students go to higher classes they approach the subject with full confidence. I follow the books of RD Sharma, RS Agarwal and the mtg foundation course other than the NCERT book. I give the students regular homeworks and take tests repeatedly. My lesson starts with the explanation of all the theorems and formula related to the chapter and solving each and every type of problem from each and every excercise. I'm sure I can make the subject interesting and fun to the person I'm teaching.

I have been a journalist/researcher for over 40 years. Was working journalist in The Economic Times, The Financial Express and have been independent journalist/writer/researcher since 2000 in social and development field. All along, I taught on voluntary basis to help people around, my own children, maid's children, college students, friends. During my studentship, I used to teach my classmates after the class or on week ends to help them. Professionally, I held training programs and workshops for professionals on communication, developing writing skills for their organizations and for media and on various social/development / rural issues.
