∫log x dx
We know the formula of Integration, ∫ uv′ = uv - ∫ vu′ where u and v are functions of x and prime here indicates derivatives.
Now let u(x)= log x and v(x)= x
By the formula mentioned above, ∫logx dx = x(log x) - ∫x.(dx/x) + C
= x(log x) - ∫dx + C
= x(log x) - x + C
Where C is integration constant.
