I have passed out from renowned Uday Shankar dance institute in Kolkata. I have been to London on scholarship and has been trained in number of western forms also. I take Creative,contemporary,afro dance classes at my residence in Whitefield,Immadihalli.

I am been dancing from Vth standard. I have performed at many events and competition. I have won the national youth festival event in the category of solo dancing. I have good skills on popping and Free style. I know many folk dances : -Bhangra,Garba,Rajasthani ,etc I am good at doing Bollywood dance as well.

I am a choreographer from Mumbai. Recently moved to Pune and working as a Dance Faculty in an international school. I am trained in Kathak for over 8 years and enjoy teaching expressive semi classical choreography. With more than 4 years of training in Latin American dancing (Jive, Salsa, Waltz, Tango) i love choreographing and teaching partner work dance. Bollywood, Freestyle, Contemporary, Popping-locking, Jazz, Belly dancing have been forms I've learnt alongside my BMM degree. I am also a Creative Movement Therapist that helps release emotional and psychological blockages stuck in the body through movement. This process helps to explore oneself beyond the boundaries of ones own limitations and lead mindful lives with self and body awareness. Apart from this, i also do a lot of wedding Choreographies for sangeet, mehendi and reception ceremonies.

I have been learning, performing, teaching dance for about 30 years now, with styles including jazz, latina and standard ballroom, and Argentine Tango. As a teacher, i give both personal sessions at students' homes, as well group classes in studios. I believe in giving praise and encouragement which is balanced with the student's progress. For me, teaching is very fulfilling, as I teach English skills as well, mainly for adult learners. As a dance teacher,i will ensure that you have fun while you learn, and focus on technique along with vocabulary.

Mrudang started this academy 7 years ago. Today we have classes. Dance Styles: We teach the following dance styles - Bollywood Jazz, Salsa, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Jive, Broadway Jazz, Afro Jazz & Jazz Funk.
