This class is designed for beginners on the guitar or players who would like to fill in the gaps in their basic overall knowledge of the instrument. The idea is to get you playing right away. This course will cover fretboard knowledge, basic techniques, chords, strumming, basic improvisation, basics of finger-style technique, standard notation/tablature, and basic concepts in music theory that can be used to read & write music and figure out songs by ear. Most of the music played in this class will be drawn from the Indian Film music with some from American songs.

I'm a sound engineer, a music producer and a guitarist with 17 years of experience under my belt. Music is my passion and I would love to pass on the knowledge that I've gained over the years through my experiences. The USP that I have is that I have no language or genre limitations when it comes to music and this has added on to my vocabulary as a musician.

I have been playing the piano for the past 7 years. I have been trained to answer Trinity Guildhall Western music Theory and Practical. I am interested in all aspects of music and like to play the Classical guitar, acoustic guitar, violin, harmonium, keyboard. I am doing Sangeet Visharad of Hindustani classical vocals. I have an acoustic upright piano. I enjoy playing, learning and teaching western classical music. I am patient and encouraging. I am very good with children of all ages. Adult beginners are welcome. I will provide all study material. Beginners will be taught on Casio/Yamaha keyboard with emphasis on finger movement and reading notes. Two students at a time. Fees 1200 per month ( one hour per week ). Intermediate students, who already know how to read sheet music , can opt for learning on the acoustic piano. One student at a time. Fees 2100 per month ( one hour per week). Students, who have learnt music earlier, will find it easier to catch up. You will be able to play simple tunes after a few months. Technical training , like scales, will be helpful for students of other instruments. Since the Western Classical Theory is the same for all instruments, only Theory can also be taught for Rs 1200 per month.

I am currently pursuing my Engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunications and have given Grade 3 Plectrum Guitar examination conducted by Trinity College London. As a teacher, my focus would be always on developing the basics of Guitar without the student losing his/her patience and ultimately, interest. I say this because learning this instrument requires a lot of patience than passion, and losing patience in the initial stages itself will result in the individual losing their interest forever.

I have guided beginners through basic chords and strumming patterns, while helping advanced learners master complex techniques, including Flamenco-style playing. I also support students who wish to perform, record their own music, or build a stronger stage presence. One of the most rewarding parts of my teaching journey has been seeing students grow in confidence and develop a genuine love for music. I have helped learners prepare for recitals, improve their timing and tone, and understand music beyond just playing notes. My goal is always to help students feel comfortable expressing themselves through the guitar. Apart from teaching, I am also an active YouTuber, where I share guitar tutorials and performances. Through my channel, I have built a community of over 22,000 subscribers. This platform allows me to reach a wider audience, stay connected with current learning trends, and continuously refine my teaching methods. I conduct guitar classes online and follow a structured, practical-based approach with clear lesson plans. My classes are interactive and focused on step-by-step skill development, ensuring students progress at a steady pace while enjoying the learning process. I aim to help students not only play the guitar well but also understand music deeply and perform with confidence.
