In 1990 he moved to Pune where he received training from Bharat Ratna Pt. Bhimsen Joshi. He has performed many concerts around the country. He is recipient of 'Prayag Sangeet Samiti' award from Allahabad and prestigious 'Sangeet Prabhakar' award. He loves teaching Hinustani Clasical Music (Khyal, Thumri, Bhajan) and Gazal. He also teaches Harmonium instrument. He has numerous students in Pune and around the world. He believes in conducting one-on-one training. He conducts music classes over internet as well as at Student's home.
