I see literature as a window into the social times when the piece was written and use the insight to derive lessons for the current times. While completing my PhD in English Literature, I discovered my latent love for understanding human nature, as shaped by the circumstances around them. Besides covering the regular school grammar, I enjoy the discussion of literary art works as part of the school curriculum, including plays by Shakespeare and other poems. I have observed that these discussions have ignited interest in my students that goes beyond the objective of passing exams.

I am a Chemical engineer. I have a BTech degree ( from Birsa Institute of Technology, Sindri) and MTech and PHD degrees from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.

I am qualified engineer and MBA in finance having worked in corporate India for over 20 years. Since my childhood I have been academically bright and mathematics has been my favorite subject. To my credit, I have scored 100% marks in class X mathematics. I am of the opinion that this subject should be taught in a manner that the kid falls in love with hit and hence grows up loving the subject even if they do not chose an associated career line later. I have specifically chosen to tutor kids in the class 1 to 5 group since this is the age where they need to build their fundamental concepts clear rather than only remain exam marks focussed.
