As a female French teacher, I have had the privilege of teaching French in Army Public School Dighi Pune for two years in a variety of settings. During my first year of teaching, I worked in a public middle school where I taught French to students in grades six through eight. My focus was on introducing them to the language through basic vocabulary and grammar, and helping them to develop their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. In my second year, I transitioned to teaching French to secondary classes. Here, I taught levels one and two, and worked with students who had a more advanced understanding of the language. My lessons centered around more complex grammar and vocabulary, and I focused on helping students develop their reading and writing skills through discussions and written assignments. Throughout my teaching experience, I have used a variety of teaching methods and resources to keep my lessons engaging and interactive. I have also incorporated cultural elements such as French films, music, and literature to provide my students with a more immersive learning experience. I have enjoyed seeing my students develop their language skills and become more confident in their ability to communicate in French.
