I believe teaching is the noblest profession.Suffice to say only education can save societies & individuals from collapse,be it violent or gradual. Of course, education is costly,but it is far less costly than its alternative, Ignorance. I have graduated in Physics from Fergusson College,Pune. Completed Masters in Physics from Indian Institute of Technology,Bombay (IIT Bombay).I have been professionally tutoring for the last 3 years at the undergraduate and graduate level. I feel content when my students feel happy after learning the key deliverables.I am more a mentor and organizer of learning experiences such that students understand,reinvent & reconstruct everything they learn.In other words,I avoid indoctrination and brainwashing.I make use of the active methodology and PowerPoint presentation understand the concepts.While teaching, I tend to be authoritative, not an authoritarian. Authoritative figures are demanding in intellectual terms, but warm in terms of social interaction. As for my teaching, I follow a 2-step approach. 1st, to teach such that student become capable of dispensing with me qua professor in a more or less near future. 2nd, students can raise what I call "irritating" questions and doubts. Irritating means whose answers advance knowledge and lead us to a better knowledge of the unknown.(for eg, irritation of Catholic Church because of Newton's challenge of the geocentric theory).All great scientists raise irritating questions and challenge the status quo.

I am a highly driven mechanical engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's degree in Engineering Design. With over 4.5 years of experience in the field, I have honed my skills in machine design, Theory of machines, Mechanical Vibrations, balancing, Strength of Materials, CAD, and FEM, Thermal Engineering. I have qualified GATE 4 times. I am proud to have published several sci and scopus papers in highly reputed journals and have filed a total of 32 patents, both utility and design, with 29 of them already published.
