Guru Mrs. Sapna Rabde Sastakar serves as the Founder and Director of Padanyas Nrutyalaya, holding both a Bachelor's (BA) and Master's (MA) degree in Bharatnatyam from the esteemed Lalit Kala Kendra, Center for Performing Arts (C.P.A) at Pune University. Under the mentorship of eminent gurus Meenakshi Venkatraman, Smt. Manik Ambike, and Smt. Sucheta Bhide Chapekar, Mrs. Sapna underwent rigorous training in Bharatnatyam. As an artist, she discovered her passion for group choreography and teaching, leading to the establishment of Padanyas Nrutyalaya in Pune, with physical and online international branches. Affiliated with the prestigious Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, the dance school trains students for Bharatnatyam certifications, including Nrutya Visharad, Nrutya Alankaar, and Arangetram. In addition to her artistic pursuits, Mrs. Sapna has received formal training in dramatics from P.D.A, and holds certifications in drawing and Rashtra Bhasha. Her accolades include a best dancer scholarship, recognition from the Pune Municipal Corporation, and awards for choreography in dance competitions. She has also successfully pursued modeling for well known jewelry and apparel brands. Having worked as faculty in the performing arts department at Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, Pune, Mrs. Sapna has contributed significantly to arts education. During her stay in Dubai, she imparted Bharatnatyam training at the Golden Talent Institute, resulting in her students earning certifications from Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal and performing on international stages. Beyond her role as an instructor, Mrs. Sapna serves as a judge and examiner for dance examinations and competitions both in India and abroad.
