A student has to be understood properly before we can even begin teaching them.
I believe everyone can excel in studies without going through a rote process. Currently, our education process makes it compulsory for all children to learn all subjects till 10th class. Children who fail to understand this - fumble... If they can be shown the way by being understood first then they can be shown 'WHY" they need to learn what they are being asked to.
I not only teach children but also counsel them simultaneously so that they can get motivated to achieve pinnacle of success.
