Skipping the basics and skipping the theory is considered as one of the mistakes.. Always make sure that you start from the basic.. step by step learning will help.. most people learn piano just to play songs watching tutorials

Poor posture: This can cause body pain and affect your technique and tone. @ Ignoring details: It's not enough to just press the right keys, you also need to press them with the right weight and dynamics. Sitting too close to the piano: This can limit your range of motion and make it hard to play correctly. • Starting each line on the same note: When improvising, try starting on different notes from the scale. Not counting to yourself: While using a metronome is important, you should also count to yourself to help you set an internal rhythm. Playing above your skill level: It's important to know your skill level and not try to play music that's too difficult. Skipping practice: It's important to practice at home. read less
