Line,Shape,form,texure,color,size and depth are very important elements for photography.As artist photographer is required knowlege and awareness of these elements for success in the photography.

Go for Canon's EOS L-series lenses, if you are serious about wildlife photography - 200mm or above (with 1.6x factor for DSLRs, it becomes 320mm or higher) . Zoom lenses cause distortion, hence compromise on image quality - but provide greater flexibility compared to fixed focal length lenses.
