Yes. It is required before joing the course or if you have fine arts backround then not required.

Definitely yes, I took my classes from Ronish Baxter in delhi mukherjee nagar now my work is being apreciated every where and it helped me a lot to setup my own business. if someone want to make photography as profession I advice definitely should go for Basic then advance course.

Yes, I strongly suggest to understand and learn the Fundamentals of Photography before taking up Advance levels. Basics Level covers, to get images how you see and vision and advance level covers how the same scene your camera sees and interprets.
