I used to interact with my clients confidently and fluently. Recently I took a break from work for some time. After that, I found myself not confident enough while talking to clients and even in internal meetings. I wonder what could be the reason. I look forward to your opinions and suggestions to regain my confidence. I appreciate any help you can provide.

Time off from work of anylengthcan shake your faith in yourcapability. It could deal a blow to yourconfidence. Various factors feed into this loss of enthusiasm. How to get your groove back: Keep yourLinkedInprofile up to date, take time off to stay updated on the latest industry developments. Connectingwith your former colleagues can open new doors, create new opportunities. You can also consider making anelevator pitchfor professional and personal encounters. Preparation will help you calm nerves, and you will be confident to speak to the other person and any situation. You can consider a coach to enhance your confidence ( I have helped many of them bounce back on track). When Allyson Felix was pregnant, Nike offered 70% less on her contract and told her, "Know your place and just run". She quit working with Nike and started her brand of running shoes, Saysh, with a slogan, " I know my place." She returned from Tokyo Olympics with 11 medals, and she became the most decorated American track and field medalist. Take time to ponder your worth. Learn new skills, take chances, make mistakes ( That's how you grow). Remember your worth. Confidence and self-belief are your best. I wishyou the best for everything. :) read less

Hey Divya, You are in a professional environment when you are at work. If the language of communication is English, you tend to use it nine hours a day and five days a week. You pick up the terminology of the workplace and the workplace and enhance your vocabulary unknowingly. This daily practice keeps you on par with the language and develops it further. When you were on a break, you had a different atmosphere compared to the work environment, and you lost touch and confidence you had before. My suggestion:Do not worry; you will get back to your way of speaking fluently when you get into the grind again. By the time do not forget to read, listen or to watch English programmes.
