If I were you with 7+ years of PHP/MySQL experience, I would choose Python over PL SQL just because of the scope to move towards Data Science. However, many online courses help you to master PL SQL.

Hi, I'm an automation test engineer and a certified s/w test engineer (CSTE - QAI). I work with databases at a beginner level but I'm planning to master working with databases.
