In my opinion there should be no online education to those kids. There is no benefit at all. At home their parents can teach them basics and keep them updated.

In this age of `new normal', we need to weigh the pros and cons of online teaching for preschoolers. Preschoolers would tend to benefit surely in a few ways. Let's not deny the fact that they would be missing out on their social skills, discipline and time schedules. We will now look into the positive side of online teaching for children under six years. *Firstly, they learn at their own pace. Since most schools have a tight schedule to complete the academic year portions, many children may find it challenging to cope with the set reading and writing skills and math skills. It is desirable at this stage that the child is allowed to learn at his pace with individual attention by the tutor. Same would be the case with children who are quick learners. They have the time to explore more things and not wait unnecessarily for the other students. *Secondly, children who are slightly introverted or haven't opened up yet or lack proper social skills have an excellent platform to join in the discussions with the teacher and raise questions which he may feel may not be possible in an open class. *The child has more learning options. It is upto the teacher to find out the best learning method for a child. * The child enjoys the benefit of individualised schedules. He can choose to devote more time for either literacy or numeracy whatever needs more attention. It may not be possible in a classroom set up. *Involvement of parents is more in this case as the parents may sit through with the child during the online sessions. They may observe how the teacher teaches and try to help the child at home in a similar manner. * Comfortable learning environment could also be one of the benefits of online education. The child is in the comfort of his home, amid his parent and a conducive environment provided by his caretakers. These could be some of the benefits of online education for preschoolers. read less
