The ratio of the present age of P and Q is 5 : 7
Calculation:
Let be assume the present age of P and Q is 5x and 7x respectively.
⇒ 7x - (5x + 6) = 2
⇒ x = 4
⇒ Sum of their present age = 5x + 7x = 12x = 12 × 4 = 48 years
∴ The required result will be 48 years.
