I teach Kathak and semi-classical dance forms, focusing on traditional techniques and classical styles. I prefer to avoid Bollywood-style choreography, as my emphasis is on preserving the purity and rhythm of classical dance. Over the past 13 years, I have guided students of all ages and skill levels, helping them develop a strong foundation in Kathak while nurturing their performance confidence.

I hold a Master’s degree in Dance and have earned the Prabhakar certification from Prayag Sangeet Samiti. These qualifications have provided me with in-depth technical knowledge and an understanding of classical dance forms, which I integrate into my teaching to ensure students learn both the artistry and the discipline of dance.

For the past five years, I have been running my own dance institute, where I provide structured training in Kathak and semi-classical dance. Prior to this, I gained valuable experience teaching in schools and other institutions, which helped me understand the varied learning styles of students and adapt my teaching methods accordingly.

My students have achieved several accolades under my guidance. I am a gold medalist in Kathak at both the Bachelor’s and Master’s levels, and I have also won a gold medal at the Youth Festival for outstanding performance in Kathak. These achievements inspire me to motivate my students to strive for excellence and develop their own artistic identities.

I conduct online classes, designing structured and interactive sessions tailored to each student’s level. My approach combines technical training with performance skills, ensuring students not only learn dance steps but also understand rhythm, expressions, and presentation. I also focus on building confidence, stage presence, and discipline in all my students.

In addition to regular classes, I prepare students for certification courses and examinations. I guide learners in obtaining formal recognition from institutions like Prayag Sangeet Samiti and Gandharva Mahavidyalaya. My teaching ensures that students are thoroughly prepared to clear these examinations with confidence and achieve credentials that validate their skills.

My goal is to create a supportive and enriching learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore their potential in classical dance, develop their artistry, and gain both technical mastery and personal growth through disciplined practice.
