Let, P's present age = 5x years
and Q's present age = 7x years
P's age after 6 years = 5x + 6
Acording to the question,
7x - (5x +6) = 2
7x - 5x -6 = 2
2x - 6 = 2
2x = 2+6
2x = 8
x = 4
Therefore, P's present age = 5x = 5×4 = 20 years
and Q's present age = 7x = 7×4 =28 years
Thus, total of P's and Q's presents ages = 20 + 28
=48 years.

Face to face tuitions in most cases, are better than online tuitions because we get to understand the mindset of the student and we can plan our classes according to the needs of the students. But since these are covid times, online tuitions are a preferable option.
