Section 8.2 - In this section, you’ll learn about the ‘Angle sum property of a
quadrilateral’. You’ll also be able to prove why the sum of the angles of a quadrilateral is
360º.

Section 8.3 – In this section, you’ll learn about different types of Quadrilaterals such as
trapezium, parallelograms, rectangle, rhombus, square and kite. Each type is explained
with figures for better understanding.

Section 8.4 – Parallelogram, which is also a Quadrilateral, has some very interesting
and useful properties. In this chapter, you’ll know all about these properties, as theorems and numerous solved examples are given for you to understand the concepts and theorems clearly.

Section 8.5 – Till now, you have studied various properties of a parallelogram and the
reason why and when a quadrilateral is referred to as a parallelogram. In this section,
you’ll study one more condition that makes quadrilateral a parallelogram.

Section 8.6 – After getting a thorough knowledge of various properties of a triangle as
well as a quadrilateral, now you’ll learn about another result which is related to the
mid-point of sides of a triangle.
