There is no much difference when it comes to content. 1. International General Certificate of Secondary Education(IGCSE) and CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education). 2. There is no much difference when it comes to content. 1. International General Certificate of Secondary Education(IGCSE) and CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education). 2. IGCSE runs on international curriculum affiliated to either England or US. CBSE is affiliated to Indian Curriculum 3. IGCSE starts from Grade 1 to AS/A2 same as CBSE Grade 1 to +1 and +2 4. From content perspective IGCSE focus more on giving kids knowledge over application, CBSE focus on the same aspect but in different setting. 5. From Examination point of view: IGCSE focus on all application based questions, whereas CBSE has a wide selection ranging from recall - memorize - few application. 6. From future perspective: IGCSE is recognised worldwide more compared to CBSE. 7. From tutoring point of view: very few schools for IGCSE but broad options of online tutors, the same is not true for CBSE. 8. Work: Both school provide a good opportunity but I prefer IGCSE over CBSE. Trust me I have worked for both IGCSE and CBSE curriculum in India and abroad. But if this question is from job point of view, there are lot of things you will learn in IGCSE and not be stuck to memorizing.
