A lot of working professionals have learnt many musical instruments. You should be able to learn drums as well, provided you put in the effort. Most professional musicians also hold day jobs. So work and music really go both ways.

Learning drums now as a working professional, assuming your work does not have anything to do with music, will depend mainly on your passion and interest. However you should also find some time to attend your classes regularly and do some regular practise. We teach teach flute mainly at our academy and many of our students are working professionals like you. Some of them are able to learn as well (in the sense as quickly) as youngsters typically. I am sure you can find some drums/rhythm institutes and tutors who are ready to take you in a student, though you are a working profesional. read less

Hi Ankita, Nice to know that you want to learn music. I would suggest to continue the music which you were learning at your school level. So that you can learn it easily and then move on to the advanced lessons.
