Poonam P.

I teach students from Classes 8 to 10 across different subjects and have around 18 years of teaching experience. My experience includes approximately 11–12 years of working in schools, where I taught students at the secondary level, along with continued experience in private tutoring. Over the years, I have developed a strong understanding of the academic needs of school students and the challenges they face while preparing for examinations.

I have completed my B.Sc. and B.Ed. qualifications. My B.Ed. has provided me with formal training in teaching methodologies and helped me understand how to structure lessons and adapt explanations according to students' learning requirements. My academic and professional background allows me to combine subject knowledge with practical teaching experience.

My years of teaching in schools have been particularly valuable because they have allowed me to work with students with different learning styles and academic abilities. I understand that not every student progresses at the same pace, and I therefore believe that a teacher needs to be patient and flexible while helping students understand difficult concepts.

I follow a well-structured lesson plan for every class. I explain topics step by step and make sure that students have understood one concept before moving on to the next. I use examples and practice questions to reinforce the topics and encourage students to actively participate during the class.

Interaction is an important part of my teaching methodology. I encourage students to ask questions and clear their doubts without hesitation. I also pay attention to areas where a student may be struggling and provide additional explanations or practice wherever necessary.

I regularly adapt my teaching approach according to the student's learning pace and level of understanding. My goal is not simply to complete the syllabus but to ensure that students develop genuine conceptual clarity and confidence. I believe that once students understand the logic behind a topic, they become more comfortable solving questions independently.

I offer both online and offline classes and use PPTs and a whiteboard to make lessons more organized and visual. With nearly two decades of teaching experience, my objective is to help students strengthen their concepts, prepare systematically for examinations, improve their academic performance, and become more confident learners.
