Balancing requires mental stillness. Most of the gyms have loud music turned on all day. You get the idea.
Yoga gives you flexibility but working out the gym style makes your body, all the more stiff.
There's a focus on breath work in yoga. For God sake, our breath matters and somebody at the gym needs to understand this.
You practice yoga under the rays of sunlight. You pay gratitude to sun. Gyms have a very competitive and dark vibe.
Every yoga pose is used to treat some kind of illness. They're here for a reason.
I enjoy stretches.
Yoga teachers are calmer compared to the ones at the gym.
That's my take. I prefer yoga.
