I have been teaching all subjects up to 8th standard and Hindi, English literature, social science, psychology, philosophy, acting, drama and information technology up to 12th standard. I have 10 years of official teaching experience and I have taught almost 3000 students so far including schools, coaching classes and private tuition. Right now I teach 200 students including coaching classes and private tuition. I entered in teaching profession when I passed out high school as my grandfather was a teacher and he suggested me if I wanted to make my knowledge better and stronger, then teaching was the best option. Since then I have been teaching different subjects as per my choices and expertise not only academic but also hobby classes. With the passage of time teaching has become my passion and to make it more interesting and result oriented I did many research and enhanced my knowledge and soft skills for the best performance. Being creative and entertaining when I develop skills in my students faster for better score, this is the best part what I love the most. I prefer using demonstrator or coach style teaching methodology because this style gives me opportunities to incorporate a variety of formats including lectures, multimedia presentations and demonstrations. Yet I also use hybrid or blended style teaching method to cope up with the present scenario of harsh competition and lack of time for the lengthy syllabus of schools and boards. Because Hybrid, or blended style, follows an integrated approach to teaching that blends the teachers’ personality and interests with students’ needs and curriculum-appropriate methods. It achieves the inclusive approach of combining teaching style clusters and enables teachers to tailor their styles to student needs and appropriate subject matter. This approach incorporates different aspects of the various styles and gives teachers flexibility to tailor a personal style that’s right for their coursework and students. I am so creative, entertaining, experienced and hungry for knowledge which helps me to explore the 100% talent and potential of my students. I have taught students from the age group of 5 to 20 years old, especially school students. As a teacher I have learnt how to use data to drive instruction, know the ins and outs of their curriculum, have learnt to refine assessments over and over until I measure depth of content knowledge and not procedural knowledge or some crazy game of remember what the teacher said, or guess what the teacher is thinking. I have learnt how to support students in self-directed learning, know how technology actually improves learning, and exclude a charisma that makes students eager to learn from them. I learned how to create positive environments for students where each learner feels safe to share thinking, ask questions, and participate in conversations naturally. Applying these techniques I have achieved pretty good result as I directed students in reading comprehension exercise which resulted in 70% increase in students’ participating in reading exercise. Implemented an applied behavior analysis program which increased students’ ability to initiate task independence.
