Mehrun Farooq S. - 5+ Years Experienced Tutor | Learn Spoken English, Grammar & Vocabulary with Confidence 🌸

I teach Spoken English and have around 5 years of experience in teaching and training students. During this time, I have helped learners improve their communication skills, fluency, pronunciation, and confidence in speaking English. I enjoy working with students at different levels and helping them become more comfortable using English in their everyday and professional lives.

My approach to Spoken English focuses on practical communication rather than learning only through theory. I believe that students improve their English most effectively when they get regular opportunities to listen, speak, practise, and receive constructive feedback. I therefore try to make my sessions interactive and give students enough opportunities to participate.

I have completed my Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.). Although my academic background is in Architecture, my teaching and training experience has helped me develop strong practical skills in communication and language instruction. Over the years, I have worked with learners with different levels of English proficiency and understand the importance of adapting the class according to each student's needs.

I follow a structured lesson plan for every class while keeping the sessions flexible enough to accommodate the student's progress. My classes generally include explanation, conversation practice, pronunciation exercises, vocabulary building, and real-life examples. I encourage students to actively use the language during the session instead of simply listening to the teacher.

I understand that many learners know English grammar but hesitate to speak because they lack confidence. I try to create a comfortable environment where students can speak without being afraid of making mistakes. I believe that mistakes are a natural part of language learning and can be used as opportunities for improvement.

I use PPT presentations and a whiteboard whenever they can support the lesson. Depending on the student's level, I also use conversations, examples, practice activities, and real-life situations to make the learning process more relevant. I can adjust the pace and difficulty of the lessons according to the student's current ability and goals.

My objective is to help students become confident and effective English speakers. Whether the learner wants to improve everyday communication, pronunciation, fluency, vocabulary, or overall confidence, I focus on providing consistent practice and personalised guidance. I want my students to gradually reach a stage where they can communicate naturally and confidently in English.
