You can apply for jobs in the field of teaching and research. Even do PHD full time or part time. Also apply for PhD with projects.

If you are interested in product developmet and such translational applications, there are some incubation centres who provide you space for startups. Government research institues have special centres for this. They also recruit students for the projects being run there.
