1. Simply click on the next cell of column where you want the sum.

2. Press Alt and = keys together.

3. It will show the sum and range of sum.

4 Click Enter key and you will get sum of the column.

In advanced excel there are two way to get an answer first answer mam told us and know where you got the answer use the =sum() and select your range after that you will get your answers, both tricks give you the same answer
