Start with simple tasks; You will be learning as well as enjoying it. Start recording with Macros, For example, you try recording and then delete a few rows and stop to record. Press Ctrl Alt + F11 and check the code. Put a button on the sheet assessing this though macro. Now you have the first macro button. Now you can start assigning small tasks. For example, you could try to accomplish these with macros. Check the first 100 rows and delete the rows which have 'deleteme' text in their first cells. Put five shapes on the sheet. When you select that particular button, your macro would be painted red. All these processes might make it a bit difficult to find the correct way of doing something "specific". Thus, you can open a fresh new book like "Ultimate guide to the World of Excel VBA" or you can also find tutors here and get experts in Excel to answer your queries. Hope this helps read less
