I have five years of experience in education, hold a BSc and a B.Ed degree, and a Master's in Counseling Psychology. With a passion for sharing knowledge and providing children with the best education, I have worked with various schools such as Divyabarathi School, Diadarshan School, and Saints Joseph School at two branches. Currently, I am engaged in providing online classes. I actively participated in science Olympiads and dance competitions during my school days, nurturing my interest in academia and extracurricular activities.
Combining my love for teaching and my diverse educational background, I now specialise in teaching science to eighth and ninth-grade students through online platforms. My online science classes are designed to be interactive and engaging, ensuring that students remain attentive throughout the 40-45 minute duration. I believe in creating a conducive learning environment where students can actively participate and ask questions. I employ various teaching tools such as PowerPoint presentations, assignments, worksheets, and detailed notes to facilitate effective learning.
The online classes are conducted in small groups, with a maximum of eight students per session. This approach allows me to provide personalised attention to each student, ensuring their learning needs are met. By fostering a collaborative learning environment, I encourage students to interact with their peers, facilitating knowledge-sharing and enhancing their overall understanding of the subject. I am committed to ensuring that each student receives a comprehensive and holistic learning experience. I strive to instil a love for science in my students and help them develop critical thinking skills, scientific inquiry, and a deep understanding of the subject matter. I aim to inspire a lifelong love for learning by creating a supportive and nurturing space.
With my expertise in counselling psychology, I also prioritise the emotional well-being of my students. I understand that education extends beyond academics and that each child has unique needs. Therefore, I approach teaching with empathy and provide guidance and support to help my students overcome any challenges they may face. I am passionate about positively impacting young learners' lives and equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in the future.
