Focus on Government Medical College near to your home town. For MBBS college is not so much important. College from where you do Postgraduation is more important than MBBS. If you want to move abroad after MBBS than prefer a college in Delhi.

How to prepare for pre-medical entrance tests into these colleges is a matter that requires great introspection. There is obviously no solution that applies to all. However, there are a few general rules: a/ Do NOT join any coaching programme that is "INTEGRATED" with your school timetable. You will miss on school tuitions and the coaching provided by these integrated providers may not be upto the mark. b/ Do your ISC text books, by far the most comprehensive reference materails, cover to cover. c/ Work to a plan and finish the entire syllabus before Diwali vacation. You, then, have a good six months to revise and take practice tests. If you do the above sincerely, you will certainly sail through the tests comfortably. Best wishes. Mukesh Srivastava read less
