Why should I appear for the CAT with the CS branch?

The branch has nothing to do with CAT, You should only appear in CAT if you are interested in doing an MBA. And branch in B.Tech is irrlevent in most cases when you do MBA.

There are two things over here - You are eligible to write the exam as it is the Common Aptitude Test, not just for IIMs. Nobody can stop you from giving the exam. You will not get a call from any IIMs...

My husband has just studied 12th STD. However he has about 13 years of experience (basically in customer service/call center) and is now in a Managerial position with one of the reputed e-Commerce companies. Hi , most of the companies will look for the basic qualification. And persuing the studies will give him growth also. So continue studies simulataneously , in private modes . I beleive BBA can be a good suggestion . All the best
