Hi Sunita, There is a huge difference in difficulty of both. If we will go sectionwise then under quant section you can get questions from 11th or 12th in CAT but in MAT questions you only can find upto 10th class. There is no co-ordinate geometry, binomial or high level algebra will be their in MAT exams. Under Reasoning section questions or pattern will be quite similar but their difficulty level can vary on a scale of 1-10 in CAT than MAT. Under english section in CAT paragrabhs can be a real nighmare for anyone and to crack CAT you must need to have a very good command over vocabulary but in MAT you can find very basic english questions. Last but not the least their is no comparison between both the exams level because if you already had prepared for any of the government exams (At least graduate level exams) then it will be very easy for you to crack the MAT exam as well as there is no any top colleges are available who take students on the basis MAT score. Best of luck read less
