Taking the management courses from top notch B schools shouldn't be driven merely by 6 or 7 figure monthly perks(as the case may be) but rather by the die-hard passion for using one's analytical thinking in the management front ( more so as you are an IIT product). The same again holds absolutely true for choosing government administrative services (IAS). To put it ina nutshell, the bottom line is ," it is not about which stream to choose from.It actually is exactly to which field you can give your heart and soul for ,that matters a lot in choosing between streams". Usually such experience does not have any numerical value that is it will not give you any weightage. But during GD and PI this experience will be a great asset.

Hey, I'm too scared of maths, to the extent that it makes me cry the moment I open my books for CAT. It also induced fear of LRDI; the moment I see graphs and numbers, I freak out. Is there any way I could become friends with maths?
Hi Shagun, Just don't be overwhelmed by the pictures or the vast number of problems. Start slowly and do as much as you can do every day; you would get over the fear and anxiety with time.
