Is doing a job or some course along with an MBA preparation preferable?

If your target is premium PGDM program it is preferable to have significant effort and time spent on exam preparation. While working it will become difficult to prepare.

Doing a job during MBA is a wise proposal as it can give you good exposure to practical aspects of a business and secondly, you can make some money which can support you economically.

Take time frame of at least one year and divide in into parts preferably four months for Quant, and at least two months for Verbal abili.
