Amar Music Academy

As the founder of a music academy specializing in Gazal, Hindustani vocal, Bollywood, devotional singing, and instrumental training in sitar and harmonium since 2013, my journey has been driven by a deep passion for teaching and preserving the Guru-Shishya parampara tradition. My own experience as a student, lacking access to exceptional teachers, inspired me to create a platform where aspiring musicians could receive high-quality instruction.

With a Master's degree in Music and accreditation from Pracheen Kalakendra, I bring a solid academic foundation to my teaching practice. I have curated a team of three dedicated trainers who share my commitment to nurturing talent and imparting comprehensive musical education.

Throughout my tenure, all of my students have started their musical journey as a hobby and later transitioned into pursuing it professionally. Many have found success in various domains of music, reflecting the effectiveness of our training methods and the dedication of our faculty.

In addition to founding the academy, I am associated with All India Radio, where I continue to contribute to the cultural heritage of music. This affiliation enriches my teaching by bringing real-world experience and traditional insights into my lessons.

I offer both online and offline classes, with each session lasting one hour. These sessions are meticulously designed to be interactive and practical, ensuring that students actively engage with the material and develop their musical skills. Live sessions are a cornerstone of our approach, providing a platform for immediate feedback, performance practice, and personalized instruction.

Our curriculum emphasizes not only technical proficiency but also the artistic nuances and emotional depth required for authentic musical expression. Whether teaching Gazal, Hindustani vocal, Bollywood songs, or devotional music, our goal is to instill a deep understanding and appreciation for Sangeet among our students.
