Hey, I ve been teaching Drums and percussions since about 10 years now, and have successfully taught more than a 100 hundred students all across India. Working as a Professional Drummer/Percussionist since 2009, rhythm has been my life. I ve completed my Grades from Trinity, London but I am mostly a self taught musician and consider it a gift from God. Art has been a part of my life sine childhood and I ve been striving hard to promote art in all forms. Indian classical music is divided into two major categories-
1. Hindustani Classical is a traditional Indian form of music prevailing in north India, and you can learn it from any Shastriya Sangeet Guru or University
2. Karnatic Classical is the other Indian classical music form prevailing in South India, and you can learn it in any part of south India from a Guru or University.
Indian classical is a diverse form of music very different than western Classical and other world music styles. Indian classical is based on Ragas instead of Scales, and these Ragas were defined by time, space, mood and feel.
Find a Guru/ Ustaad/Pandit on the internet in your location, or a College of Music University.

The best way to learn Vocal music is through a private tutor as it requires a lot of practical training, exercise and the tutor makes sure that you are learning right by always hearing you practice although online lessons are also helpful if you know the basics about Vocal music and want to pursue theory ahead.
