An electron is a very small sub-atomic particle present outside the nucleus of an atom. It carries a negative electric charge and has very little mass compared to other particles in the atom. The movement of electrons from one atom to another is the basic reason why electricity exists in materials like copper.
Electricity is the flow of electric charge, which usually happens due to the movement of electrons through a conductor. When a voltage source such as a battery or power supply is connected, electrons start moving in an orderly manner, creating electric current. This flowing current is what powers electrical devices like bulbs, fans, and mobile chargers.
Power refers to the rate at which electrical energy is used or converted. It tells us how fast a device consumes energy and is measured in watts. A device with higher power uses energy more quickly than a device with lower power, even if both are used for the same amount of time.
Energy is the total amount of electrical work done or electricity consumed over a period of time. It depends on both the power of the device and how long it is used. Electrical energy is measured in joules or kilowatt-hours and is the quantity that is recorded on electricity bills.
