total internal reflection occurs when light travels from an optically denser medium to a rarer medium. For this, the angle of incidence should be higher than the critical angle (the angle for which angle of refraction is 90 degrees).

Should I join rank improvement batch of made easy or panacea institute if my gate rank is 4436 from self study.

Sat, psat, act, gre,gmat, toefl, ielts -15 yrs exp. Princeton review, kaplan certified online tutor.

Both are good. However, please avoid institutes like Gate Forum. They will offer low tuition fee and huge discounts. However, the GATE course material is of poor quality and faculties is mostly freshers.
